About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. The ideal candidate will have experience in welfare, support, or health and social care and be looking for a new challenge.

As an Advocate for Social Change, you will travel to locations such as hospitals and care homes around Sutton/Croydon/Surrey to support individuals. You will engage with people from all walks of life, ensuring that their voice is heard and their wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are considered.

You will also check and challenge Local Authorities and/or professionals as appropriate to ensure they are acting in the best interest of the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to locations to support individuals
  • Engage with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Challenge Local Authorities and professionals when necessary
Requirements:
  • IAQ qualified or willingness to study for and obtain within 12 months
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable people
  • Kindness, compassion, good communication skills, and ability to connect with others
  • A valid driver's license and car for travel to clients
