About the Role

Xenon Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead a new traditional build development of 2x houses. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the master build programme, preparing short-term programmes, and overseeing health and safety on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the master build programme, ensuring timely completion and quality control
  • Prepare short-term programmes, outlining tasks and deadlines for the site team and subcontractors
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors to discuss progress and address any issues
  • Report progress to the visiting Contracts Manager on a weekly basis, highlighting any challenges or concerns
  • Pre-start meetings with subcontractors to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Oversee health and safety on site, producing relevant reports and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with external bodies, including Building Control, HSE, Utilities, and Service providers, to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Responsible for quality control, ensuring all units are completed to the required standard prior to NHBC inspection
About You

We are looking for a candidate with circa 5+ years of experience, ideally working for a Residential Developer. The successful candidate will hold the correct CITB qualifications, including a CSCS Card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work. Experience working on a similar scheme is desirable, but not essential. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential for this role.
