Test Manager for Financial Services

As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for setting a clear vision of the product, defining user stories, and prioritizing user stories with the wider project team and key stakeholders. This involves defining test strategies, test plans, administering the defect management process, managing risks and issues, including identifying, tracking, and removing impediments in each software release.
You will deliver improvements to current working practices and offer valuable input throughout the release cycle. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of system testers, undertaking testing tasks, owning and administering the defect management process, helping develop the product vision, and maintaining the product backlog for testing tasks.
The role requires effective communication business requirements to the project/scrum team, assisting in release planning and deployment, tracking and removing impediments to progress/delivery, communicating regularly with the business and other key stakeholders, facilitating and participating in daily stand-up/Scrum meetings, monitoring and driving key performance indicator metrics, managing the provisioning of test environments, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing with the business and/or end user.
Experience:- Proven Test Management experience
- Experience managing a small-medium team of testers
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of Visual Studio
- Evidence of working in an agile/scrum environment
- Previous experience in system testing
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Able to work across departments and coordinate work
- Experience working in a structured IT delivery team
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
