About the Role


DP World is seeking an experienced Digital Learning Content Developer to join its Training team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. As part of this role, you will assist in the implementation of our new Learning Management System by collaborating with key business stakeholders, the Technical Training team, and Human Resources.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and eLearning development, as well as experience working with authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate. They will be responsible for creating engaging and effective training courses and learning materials, utilising instructional design principles to develop learning content, learning objectives, user guides, and assessment methods.


In addition to developing multimedia content, including videos, interactive simulations, quizzes, and other eLearning resources, the successful candidate will also be required to use HTML and audio/video editing software to produce and edit videos for training purposes. They will input and upload course content, learning materials, and assessments into the LMS, organise and structure courses, and administer approval lines within the LMS.


The role will also involve testing courses within the LMS to ensure functionality, usability, and accuracy, as well as assisting in overseeing and coordinating the project daily, working closely with the project lead and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong project coordination skills, with significant organisational and analytical skills.

What You'll Bring



  • A qualification in training, adult education, and/or multimedia training and/or materials development would be beneficial.
  • Relevant experience in training, adult education, and/or multimedia training and/or materials development, including experience working with Learning Management Systems, would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong project coordination skills, with significant organisational and analytical skills.

About the Salary


The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
