About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Gas engineer to join our team as a Mobile Gas Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and skilled individual to provide professional services to our clients across Greater London.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend and complete planned maintenance tasks, including breakdowns, on commercial gas systems.
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find issues with gas installations.
  • Produce quotations for works and remedials following service visits.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other team members as required.
  • Travel extensively throughout Greater London in a company vehicle.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork on-site and update client records.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
  • Utilize provided equipment, including a van, uniform, PDA, and mobile phone.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial gas engineering, with relevant qualifications (COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT).
  • Excellent knowledge of current gas regulations and domestic/commercial appliances.
  • Comprehensive technical skills and extensive experience in commercial fault-finding and rectification.
  • Familiarity with major manufacturers' products (Valliant Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, Worcester, etc.).
  • Basic plumbing skills and good interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours and participate in the call-out rota.
  • Full UK driving license and DBS clearance.

Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Overtime paid at x1.5 on weekdays and x2 on weekends, plus a day-in-lieu on bank holidays. Standby rate is £15 per day and £50 on bank holidays. 24 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for shift workers). Additional benefits include life assurance, auto-enrolment pension scheme, employee assistance program, cycle-to-work scheme, and employee discounts.
