Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in the Borough of Greenwich. This is a full-time and permanent position, starting in January 2025.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a range of experienced and young Humanities Teachers, with a 1:1 mentor and bespoke ECT induction program. Our School has a strong focus on staff development and offers a fun and creative learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History, RE, and Geography to students at KS3, 4, and 5
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Humanities Department
  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities Head of Department and other Teachers to achieve excellent results

Requirements:

  • UK QTS or in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • Ability to work as part of a large team and listen to feedback
