About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Negotiator to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear. As a key member of the Nuclear Defence Support business stream, you will be responsible for managing contracts, negotiating contract changes, and ensuring compliance with trade controls and regulations.

The successful candidate will have significant generalist commercial experience, with a proven track record in delivering on accountabilities and driving the commercial agenda. A strong background in NEC3 is essential, and a degree-level qualification in Law or Quantity Surveying would be advantageous.

The role involves developing and managing contract requirements, evaluating compliance, and advising on contractual rights and obligations. You will also negotiate contract changes and amendments, ensure alignment with business needs, and provide quantity surveying services to support Nuclear Defence Support business streams.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to develop and maintain key external commercial customer relationships and support budget management processes by providing input into project reporting and commercial P&L.

This is a full-time role, working thirty-seven hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements offering three days in the office and two days working from home. We are happy to consider flexible working patterns, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, generous holiday allowance, matched contribution pension scheme, and access to a range of employee benefits.
