Project Manager (LIMS Implementation)

Cubiq Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Laboratory Information System (LIMS) for a key healthcare client.

The selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between our company and the client, managing all aspects of the project to ensure timely and successful delivery within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a project plan with the client, detailing key milestones, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including healthcare organizations and third-party suppliers.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation in line with PRINCE2 methodology.
  • Provide weekly project updates to the Programme Manager, flagging risks and providing RAG status.
  • Maintain risk logs and manage mitigation strategies, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Ensure all project phases are signed off by the client and all documentation is properly stored.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity on project objectives and roles, motivating the team to deliver.
  • Ensure thorough testing and user acceptance before any software/hardware upgrades go live.
  • Resolve client issues promptly.

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience in project management, particularly in software implementations for healthcare systems.
  • PRINCE2 or a similar project management certification.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with both clients and team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in translating technical information to non-technical audiences.
