Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Assistant to join our team at Recruit 12. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Management Accountant in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers.
  • Reconcile cash and banking transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns and Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.
  • Oversee the UK stock reconciliation process.
  • Maintain UK HSBC import funding records.
  • Create and maintain monthly profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet (BS) reconciliation templates.
  • Obtain and post AMEX and HSBC corporate credit card statements.
  • Obtain and post invoices from Facebook and TikTok.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Assist with the production of month-end management accounts.
  • Support the Management Accountant during times of absence.
Requirements
