We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Specialist to join our team in South Essex, working with children aged 0-16 with disabilities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Social Worker to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. As a Disability Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and guidance to help individuals reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing individual needs and developing tailored support plans
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS, or an equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England as a registered Social Worker
  • Demonstrable capability to practice in line with current professional standards
  • Proficiency in case recording
  • Strong social work skills, including emotional intelligence, analytical skills, and confidence in challenging situations
