Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Developer to join our team at Merge IT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications using Python3 and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure automation solutions using a combination of approaches and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop production-ready APIs and application code using Python3 and IaaC tools.
  • Architect and build cloud-native applications using Openshift and Kafka.
  • Implement alerting, logging, and monitoring frameworks to ensure observability and quick recovery from failure.
  • Communicate effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders to present new initiatives, provide feedback on current projects, and lead on issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering transformation at scale, moving legacy applications to a cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience in software development, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of alerting, logging, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and provision for project risks.
