Site Manager Opportunity

Wates Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Planned Works division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor site staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a site management role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address site-specific issues.
  • Valid SMSTS certification and full UK driving license.
  • First aid certification and asbestos awareness training.
