Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Pantheon is a leading private markets investor with a reputation for innovation and expertise. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our new Data Platform using cloud-native technologies hosted in Azure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and data visualization, with experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide dashboard solutions. They will be responsible for leading the design and build of Pantheon's BI capabilities, working closely with our Azure Data Engineering team to ensure seamless integration with the underlying data architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new Power BI dashboards and reports that provide intuitive and actionable insights to our business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines and workflow management tools to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex data-related problems and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members in best practices and the use of BI tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Pantheon's BI capabilities remain cutting-edge.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics, with a strong background in data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Significant expertise in Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design and data mining best practices.
  • Experience with data transformation pipelines and workflow management tools.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and Azure cloud services.
