About the Role

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a high level of customer service, as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis, delivering their shopping to their doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your delivery van, ensuring it remains clean and tidy at all times.
  • Load and unload groceries from the van, checking for any damage or issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering any questions or concerns the customer may have.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time, taking into account any traffic or road conditions.
  • Keep accurate records of your deliveries, including any issues or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • A valid driving license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and other items.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
