Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and stroke specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Community Stroke Rehab team in Enfield. The team is based at St Michael's Primary Care Centre, with easy access to parking and transport links to Herts and central London.

About the Role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to stroke survivors and their carers in a community setting. You will work closely with other senior staff to act as a resource for specialist advice to the rest of the stroke community rehabilitation service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-standard Speech and Language therapy care to stroke survivors and their carers in a community setting.
  • Act as a resource for specialist advice to the rest of the stroke community rehabilitation service.
  • Work closely with other senior staff to support the rehabilitation needs of patients.

Requirements
  • Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and supervise junior staff.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Membership of a professional body or special interest group.
  • Experience of working in a community setting.
  • Experience of leading a project or audit.
