About the Role:

We are seeking a Strategy Analyst to help drive our annual strategic planning process, analyse publicly available market data and define problems and strategic solutions. The role will require occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with our headquarters in Japan, the UK and Belgium.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Help drive the annual strategic planning process, including workshops, analysis, coordination and materials preparation.
  • Analyse publicly available market data for insights and trends, and translate this into threat or opportunity assessments for JERA Nex.
  • Define problems and strategic solutions, including scoping, analysis, preparing and presenting strategy checks.
  • Engage in other projects, such as driving business transformation and executing strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of consulting or similar professional experience, preferably with exposure to renewables or new-tech oriented roles.
  • Problem-solving skills, including hypothesis-led thinking and analysis.
  • Experience in driving business transformation from strategy development to execution, including business case development and frameworks for evaluation value realisation.
  • Motivating and empowering capabilities, able to build consensus across functions, business units and geographies.
  • Global work experience.
  • Fluent in English.

Salary: A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
