Job Title: Creative Engineer

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join the Global Combat Air Programme/Future Combat Air System Acquisition Programme as a key member of the programme integration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering governance principles and experience working with external customers.

The successful candidate will support UK industry and International Partners in creating, developing, and deploying parts of the Engineering Operating Framework and Governance System. This role is ideal for those looking to enter the Defence Aerospace Industry, offering an excellent chance to represent BAE Systems and UK Industry on the international stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Engineering Operating framework and Governance Systems in collaboration with the lead senior engineer.
  • Create policies and processes to reduce risk and improve program efficiency across international engineering teams.
  • Design and deliver parts of the assurance framework and auditing plan.
  • Deploy policies and processes across the engineering organisation.
  • Sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

Salary Range: £47,683-£52,426 (commensurate with skills and experience)
