The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new customers and maintaining existing accounts in the North West region.
The ideal candidate will have a technical or hands-on background within instrumentation, valves, sensors, calibration, or flowmeters, looking to move into technical sales. Alternatively, someone with experience selling various valve types and looking for a new direction into a full instrumentation sales role would also be considered.
Responsibilities and Requirements:- Developing new customers and maintaining existing accounts
- Selling process instrumentation, sensors (Pressure, level, flow), flowmeters, etc., to a diverse range of industries
- Working from home covering the South of the UK
- Assisting in the reporting, forecasting, and managing of allocated industries and accounts within the North East of the UK
- Following up on leads generated by marketing activities
- Liaising with various engineering departments
- Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, or similar
- Knowledge of process instrumentation, sensors (Pressure, level, flow), flowmeters, or similar products/applications
- Must be based in the South of the UK or surrounding areas
- A technical or engineering qualification would be beneficial
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £35,000 - £55,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday + bank holiday
- Company car
- Pension, plus other benefits
