Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping operations at Kingsacre Care Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of housekeepers, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the care home.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of leadership and experience in managing housekeeping teams. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and management. You will also have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include supervising and leading the housekeeping team, training new employees, and evaluating their performance. You will also be responsible for scheduling and delegating work for daily cleaning, laundry, and other essential tasks. Additionally, you will manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensure adherence to quality standards, and handle complaints and requests from residents and staff promptly and professionally.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour, plus benefits including pension, onsite parking, paid PVG, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).
