Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a Good CQC rated home in Chell, Stoke-on-Trent. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Support residents with their physical and emotional needs, including mobility and continence
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a senior role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days and nights, to meet the needs of the service
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on resident-centred practice
