Job Title: Metal Polisher - Fettler

We are seeking a skilled Metal Polisher - Fettler to join our client's established Engineering company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal finishing techniques and be experienced in polishing and fettling metal components working on Stainless-Steel metal finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform metal finishing processes such as polishing, grinding, deburring, and fettling to achieve desired surface finishes on metal components.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete finishing tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work in a confined area with extraction, and the environment may be quite dirty.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in metal finishing techniques.
  • Experience in polishing and fettling metal components.
  • Ability to work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.
