KASTO Ltd is a leading manufacturer of high-quality sawing machines and material storage solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Engineer to join our busy service team.

About the Role

This is a mobile, field-based position that requires flexibility and a willingness to travel throughout the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of sawing and storage equipment
  • Reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Operator training and handover
  • Administration and reporting
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • High-level technical qualifications or demonstrable competency
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronics, PLC, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Salary and Benefits
  • Basic salary starting at £30,000 (circa) + overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
  • Performance-related pay structure
  • Daily travel expenses and company van with private use permitted
  • Company credit card and fuel card
  • Private individual health care and pension scheme contributing 6% of basic pay
  • Holiday entitlement of 23 days (24 days when Christmas Eve falls on a weekday)

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £45,000 based on a 40-hour working week.
