Job Title: Primary Outreach Tutor Position

Job Description: Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to young people without a school placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Work with pupils who may have low confidence levels due to being out of education for an extended period.

Collaborate closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor pupil progression and support effective learning.

Requirements:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

UK classroom teaching experience.

Creativity, patience, and the ability to think outside the box.

Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Eligibility:

Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service.

Two professional child-related references.

Working Conditions:

Location: Within the community or pupils' home in Coventry.

Type of work: Contract.

Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement.

Contract type: Temporary.

Full-time/part-time: Part-time (15 hours per week, per student).

Minimum rate of pay: GBP23+ per hour.
