At Finch Henry Job Corps Center, we are currently recruiting for a skilled Credit Controller to join our Finance team in London. The successful candidate can expect a salary of around £35,000 per year.
">Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Credit Controller will be to manage the firm's credit control process, ensuring that all bills are paid in a timely manner and maintaining a focus on reducing Lockup. This will involve reviewing debt balances regularly, establishing strong working relationships with matter supervisors and billing executives, and operating the firm's credit control system.

- Advise fee earners on progress in chasing outstanding debts
- Distribute a summary of overdue debts to the revenue control manager
- Deal with queries efficiently and effectively
- Assist the billing team at peak billing times
- Support the European financial controller with ad-hoc tasks
This role requires a high degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
RequirementsApplicants should have good communication skills, high levels of interpersonal skills, and a good telephone manner. They should also be organized and accurate, with good attention to detail, and be able to remain calm under pressure. A demonstrable team player, with flexible attitude and approach to work and work colleagues, the successful applicant will be sympathetic and understanding of clients yet with gravitas to agree terms with clients. Computer literate, being competent with Word, Excel, and Outlook, results-oriented, and proactive in anticipating the needs of the team.
You are computer literate and will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) having achieved a grade 'C' or above in Maths and English. Ideally, you will have worked in a similar legal environment for a few years in a credit control environment with experience using 3E or a similar accounting package.
