About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar Analyst to join our Solar O&M team at UKOS BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our Asset Managers in the management of our ground mount solar PV plants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Take ownership of and support the Asset Management team for their portfolio of ground mount solar PV plants, ensuring that all O&M works are undertaken in accordance with the agreed contractual scope.
  2. Monitor sites using monitoring software to compile monthly/annual availability reports and complete ad hoc performance analysis requests.
  3. Support the Asset Management team to ensure delivery of preventative maintenance plans, ensuring that all requirements, obligations, and warranty provisions are met.
  4. Manage fault tickets, keeping to contractual obligations and response times.
  5. Measure internal performance and ensure all obligations are met.
  6. Implement H&S best practices, including raising Work Orders and arranging Site Inductions, and ensure that all activities are carried out under the approved UK HSE system, including CDM regulations.
  7. Manage and produce monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports for external stakeholders, including Performance and Availability Calculations by the contractual deadlines.
  8. Manage and report to the Lead Asset Manager the weekly status for contract deliverables, including reporting, performance calculations, and maintenance updates.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree qualified not essential, and consideration will be given to those without but with significant experience in a similar role or who have transferable skills.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 1 year previous experience with Asset Management of solar assets or similar technologies would be ideal.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of solar technology, solar farm operations, SCADA systems, and UK HSE legislation would be ideal.
  4. Analysis: This is a fundamental skill that is required to fulfill this role. Attention to detail, able to manipulate and assess data to see patterns and trends.
  5. Communication: Have the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels, both written and verbally.
  6. Personality: Naturally well-prepared, logical thinker who is organized and able to deal with competing priorities, manage a diverse workload, and meet targets and deadlines.
  7. IT Skills: Highly proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages with excellent Excel skills and the ability to learn other digital platforms quickly.
  8. Driver's License: Due to the nature of the role, there is a requirement for a valid license.
