Trainee Science Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic science graduate to join our team as a Trainee Science Teacher in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and established learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver focused interventions as a science specialist to help students excel in their GCSE science exams.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the learning support team to create effective study strategies and monitor progress.
  • Guide and motivate students towards their academic goals, enhancing their understanding of key concepts.
Requirements:
  • A 1:1 degree in a science-related field from a leading UK university.
  • Strong academic credentials, including outstanding GCSE and A-Level results.
  • Tutoring experience is a plus, but passion for education and student success is key.
About the Role:

This is a one-year contract (September to July) with term-time only work. You will receive a competitive weekly salary ranging from £475 to £550, including Holiday Entitlement. You will work in an Ofsted Outstanding school, renowned for its supportive and established learning support team.
