We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Moore Green Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out user tests, cyclical, preventive and repairs maintenance, and arranging access for contractors to carry out maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

* Carrying out a handy-person service for the residents, as directed by the Cluster manager. This may include tasks such as picture hanging, assembling flat pack furniture, and other general maintenance duties.

* Undertaking preventive maintenance duties in the resident's apartments and in the communal areas.

* Being proactive in the management of void properties, ensuring water quality checks and general repairs are undertaken.

* Working with contractors on site to improve own knowledge of systems and to ensure that they are working to risk assessments provided.

* Recording repair requests and defects.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTECs, and NVQs. Courses in health and safety, plumbing, plastering, carpentry, and general maintenance are highly desirable. Numeracy, literacy, and computer skills are essential for this role.
