About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Motoring Team Leader to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a crucial role in driving business performance and providing exceptional customer experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians and provide coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and retention.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of up to £32,136 per annum.
  • An uncapped bonus scheme with an average of £7,100 per year.
  • 5 days a week, with opportunities to earn extra through our refer-a-friend scheme.
  • A range of benefits, including 5.6 weeks' annual leave, discounts on garage bills and Halfords products, and access to a pension scheme and life assurance.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction and experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and train others.
  • IT proficiency and a willingness to learn in-house systems.
  • A current valid driving licence.
