Research Scientist in Microfluidics and Diagnostics

The University of Oxford is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist in Microfluidics and Diagnostics to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Jason Davis on a project funded by the Michael J Fox Foundation. The project involves the design and generation of nanoparticle and microfluidic configurations capable of analysing patient serum.
About You
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, with experience in microfluidics and the development of sensing platforms. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own academic research and administrative activities, including small scale project management, cross-project supervision, and interactions with other research teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and generate nanoparticle and microfluidic configurations
Analyse patient serum using developed sensing platforms
