The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Coordination: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of heat pump installation and pipework projects.
- Health and Safety Management: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections, as well as revision and production of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs).
- Programme Management: Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Communication and Team Management: Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties, including clients, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Problem-Solving and Documentation: Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site, providing effective solutions promptly, and maintain accurate records of daily activities, site reports, and safety documents.
- Recent DBS Check (can be arranged)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS Card
- First Aid Certification: Up-to-date certification required.
- Proven experience in a similar role, experience in managing commercial heat pump installation would be a distinct advantage
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
Hours are 07:30 - 17:00 with 1/2 hr lunch. Rate can be somewhat negotiable depending on experience.
