About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at VanRath. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the necessary resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a project plan and ensuring the necessary resources are organized to meet the plan
- Continually monitoring progress and taking all necessary steps to ensure the completion date is met
- Developing a project budget and ensuring the project is delivered within that budget
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to the client's specifications
- Ensuring that the project resources, including staff, labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors, are effectively managed
- Liaising with clients and their agents to advise on progress and problem resolution as required
- Ensuring contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised
- Monitoring the financial performance of the project and taking all necessary steps to minimize costs
- Proactively developing relationships with clients
- Proactively participating in value engineering to maximize project contribution
- Ensuring that a high standard of safety is maintained throughout the project and that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to
Requirements:
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
- Experience working on high-end fit-out projects
- Track record working as a Project Manager
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
- Great attention to detail, commercial acumen, and cost control
- Excellent management skills
- Good IT skills to enable the flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Able to commute to Antrim on a daily basis
