We are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Business Growth Manager to join our Building Services team in Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales and business growth activities for Building Services in Scotland, with a focus on developing long-term relationships with clients and growing the business pipeline. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and business development, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the business pipeline in Scotland, including identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated sales and marketing campaigns, driving business growth and revenue generation.
- Provide market insights and competitive analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Manage pre-qualification processes with prospective clients, ensuring seamless delivery of commercial proposals tailored to each prospect's needs.
- Represent Skanska externally, establishing credibility with other parties and promoting the company's image and brand in agreed markets.
- Participate in the promotion of Skanska's image and brand in all agreed markets in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
We are looking for:
- A proven track record of developing successful sales and business growth strategies across a broad portfolio of target client groups.
- Experience in building services and engineering, with a deep understanding of the sector's dynamics and trends.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Strong knowledge of private and public sector tendering and commissioning procedures, with experience of managing the total bid process for new and retained business.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations.
- Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and 25 days annual leave.
