We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our rail cost management team, supporting our growth and making a difference to our business and UK infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities- Establishing relationships with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in projects and programmes.
- Administering contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
- Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
- Managing contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
- Driving improvements in forecast accuracy and budgets.
- Providing commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
- Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
- Previous experience or understanding of contract management, cost management, change management, valuation, procurement, reporting, and collaborative approach.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
