Data Analyst

The Data Scientist is responsible for handling and analyzing large datasets using advanced technologies and techniques. This includes applying deep knowledge and insight in predictive analytics to drive business decisions. The role involves performing necessary analyses and presenting findings to associates in an informative way. Additionally, the Data Scientist integrates, centralises, protects, and maintains data sources, ensuring database accessibility to relevant stakeholders within the organisation and taking care of safety measures to keep stored data safe. The role also supports software engineering with specialised knowledge on big data processing.
Key Responsibilities
• Leads and executes technical activities and projects within own responsibility area.
• Plans, designs, executes, analyses, reports and documents items in own area.
• Supports resource planning and organising.
• Is responsible for sharing knowledge and training in his / her expertise area.
• Gives technical support for Product Management, Customer Interface and other business lines.
Qualifications
• Master's Degree (PhD Preferred) in Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• 3-4 years of significant experience in the field of Data Science
• Machine Learning: supervised and unsupervised learning, linear and logistic regressions, random forests, gradient boosting, neural networks (RNN, LSTM, CNN), text mining and topics extraction, NLP, K-Means, decision trees, ML applied to computer vision, Generative AI, Language Models, GPT, RAG
• Deep Knowledge of Python (scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, etc), jupyter, Spark/Scala or R data science libraries, PostgreSQL, ELK, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, micro-services-oriented architecture, collaborative tools (GitLab)
• English mandatory (written and verbal)
