About the Role

Pell Frischmann Group Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineering Director to join our team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineering Project Lead to lead and provide technical support on the design, quality assurance, and delivery of strategic flooding and below ground drainage and highway infrastructure-related projects in support of the Land Development and Building Structures Teams.

The successful candidate will have a civil engineering degree and be approaching Chartered status with experience in highway and highway drainage design. They will also have strong postgraduate experience in a civil engineering working environment.

Responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent work streams to deliver projects on programme and within budget, as well as line management, mentoring, and leading the technical development of the below drainage team in London and in the Nottingham Office.

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working policy, on-site support to the team in London, and remote teamwork with the Nottingham and Exeter teams.

Main Duties:

  1. Leading and providing technical support on the design, quality assurance, and delivery of strategic flooding and below ground drainage and highway infrastructure-related projects
  2. Understanding, supporting, and managing clients' needs with high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions delivered to programme and budget
  3. Representing Pell Frischmann externally in project delivery, business development, and marketing
  4. Managing multiple concurrent work streams to deliver projects on programme and within budget
  5. Line management, mentoring, and leading the technical development of the below drainage team
