Private Client Lawyer Opportunity

Farnfields Solicitors, a well-established and successful law firm, is seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join our busy Private Client Department in North Dorset.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad caseload of Private Client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, estate administration, estate planning, trusts, and court of protection work. The role will also involve proactive business development and networking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of Private Client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including wills and powers of attorney
  • Provide advice on estate planning, trusts, and court of protection work
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the Private Client Department
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Private Client Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years PQE. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in estate administration, estate planning, will drafting, and powers of attorney preparation. They will be self-motivated, adept at building relationships, and able to work in a busy department against a target.
