Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced social or market researcher to join our Consumer Insight and Behavioural Science team as a Senior Research Adviser. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality research projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver tangible insights that inform policy decisions.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead on the development of research plans, project plans, and stakeholder engagement to ensure fit-for-purpose consumer surveys and bespoke research meet stakeholders' needs.
- Oversee in-house quantitative statistical analysis of survey data sets to address key policy questions, generating clear, simple, and engaging outputs.
- Deliver timely, publishable standard research outputs from commissioned or in-house research or analysis, with clear recommendations and effective dissemination.
- Promote and disseminate research internally and externally, presenting findings to senior executives, stakeholders, and industry experts.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Significant experience in all aspects of quantitative research and survey design, particularly questionnaire design, sampling, statistical methods, and hypothesis testing.
- Substantial experience in the end-to-end delivery of complex social, behavioural, or market research projects.
- Knowledge and experience of behavioural insights and experiments, as well as strong understanding of qualitative research design and analysis.
- Proficiency using tools such as SPSS, Python, R, or similar to manipulate, analyse, and visualise research data.
