Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with financial reporting, including ensuring that all relevant accounts are reconciled and accurate.
  • Revenue Recognition: Use your technical accounting background to manage the revenue recognition process effectively, ensuring that all revenue is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of qualified and studious individuals, providing support and encouragement where necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with finance directors, heads of finance, and non-finance stakeholders to ensure that financial reporting needs are met.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification
  • Experience working in a structured, large business environment
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
