About the Role
The Site Operative will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the flour mill, covering all aspects of production. This is a multi-skilled position that requires effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the Company Safety and Health guidelines, adhering to critical life standards policy.
- Maintain food safety compliance requirements within the plant.
- Work towards production targets to ensure performance excellence across site.
- Conduct laboratory testing of wheat and flour to ensure high-quality standards.
- Accurately complete all documentation as required.
- Support other site functions, such as Weighbridge, Warehouse, and Hygiene, when needed.
Requirements
- Effective team member with strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities to analyze situations objectively and reach logical solutions.
- Food process experience is ideal, but not essential, with training provided.
- Computer literate with current FLT training certificate and Advance NABIM qualification an advantage.
