Role Overview

We are seeking a Mental Health and Behaviour Interventionist to join our team at an Alternative Provision in Redditch. This is a full-time role that offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with social emotional mental health and behavioural difficulties.

About the Team

The successful candidate will have experience working with challenging behaviours, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting students who require additional support. As a Mental Health and Behaviour Interventionist, you will be responsible for delivering individualised support to students, promoting their social and emotional well-being, and helping them to overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality individualised support to students
  • Promote social and emotional well-being through engaging activities and programmes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of student plans
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Estimated Salary

This is a competitive role that offers an estimated salary of £32,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
