Experienced Optical Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Optical Assistant to join Specsavers Ealing team in an exciting role for career development.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, including one weekend day.
  • The estimated salary for this role is £25,000, depending on experience.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Dispensing of lenses (single vision / bi-focal & varifocal).
  • Taking measurements and supporting patients with collections, ensuring fit, comfort & accuracy of frames are checked thoroughly.
  • Maintaining delivery of excellent customer service at all times, playing a valuable part of a customer journey & successful retail team.
About You:
  • We are looking for someone with previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant.
  • Possessing a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to a Level 3 BTEC would be advantageous.

This opportunity allows you to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment, working towards a Level 3 BTEC qualification in Optics that could potentially lead to roles such as Dispensing Optician, Clinical Lead Optician, or beyond.
