Job Description

This role will be based remotely, with opportunities to collaborate with our small virtual team of 20+ people and work across multi-disciplinary teams within the Ramboll business.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Carbon Consultant to lead projects on BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL assessments, collaborating with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver impactful results. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will contribute to shaping a more sustainable future by providing expert advice on sustainability and carbon management.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL projects, managing client relationships, project budgets, and team resources across a portfolio of public and private sector projects.
  2. Work alongside engineering, building, transport, and other teams to support client projects.
  3. Engage in wider sustainability projects, including sustainability services, whole life carbon assessments, LCAs, and carbon reporting.
  4. Support training and knowledge sharing with junior staff.
Requirements
  • Certified BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL Assessor with demonstrable experience of delivering or supervising BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor projects.
  • Excellent client and team engagement and relationship building experience.
  • Effective and collaborative project management skills to support managing projects on time and to budget.
  • Experience of writing and reviewing reports, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new skills as needed.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
