Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant Associate to join our team in a role that involves delivering accurate accounting and reporting across various operating units. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust controls around numbers reported in the financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and control data using established finance systems and protocols.
  • Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. You will also be responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
  • Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards.
  • Identify and escalate commercial or financial risks for works, to aid risk management.

Requirements

  • An understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with general ledger and accounting software.
  • The ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports.
  • The ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
