Job Title: Daily Supply Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Zero Hours Contract (Flexible Working Hours)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Education Support Assistant to work on a daily supply basis across various primary schools in the Croydon Borough. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your working hours and provide support in both mainstream and SEN settings, catering to children from Nursery to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with class teachers to manage classroom activities and learning.
  2. Provide support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and in mainstream settings.
  3. Assist with classroom setup, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment.
  4. Support small groups or individual students, providing assistance with learning tasks.
  5. Adapt quickly to different school environments and pupil needs.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK primary schools.
  2. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a range of settings, including Nursery, Reception, and KS1-KS2.
  3. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  4. Good communication and organisational skills.
