About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our Workplace Illness team at Irwin Mitchell. As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting Solicitors with their caseload, gaining hands-on experience in a law firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take instructions from clients and assist with the giving of legal advice, including obtaining evidence and assisting with litigation to achieve appropriate resolutions.
  • Meet time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
  • Attend and contribute to team/practice area meetings and comply with directions/decisions to ensure team objectives are achieved.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant law and practice, attending training events to ensure up-to-date legal knowledge and best practice.
About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Empathy and compassion to guide clients through challenging personal circumstances.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and can-do approach.
  • Previous Paralegal or relevant legal experience is ideal.
