Care Quality Specialist

Job Description:
Swiis Foster Care is seeking a qualified Independent Assessor to work on a sessional basis, undertaking Skills Assessments for prospective foster carers in Southampton and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers
- Work within agreed agency timescales to ensure timely assessments
- Collaborate with the Registered Manager for supervision during the assessment process
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities as requested
Requirements:
- MA/BA in Social Work/DipSW/CQSW
- Current HCPC registration
- Experience in completing Form F assessments
- 2 years of post-qualification experience in family placement/fostering
- Prior experience of undertaking social work assessments
- Recognised professional social work qualification
- Knowledge of child care legislation and other relevant legislation/initiatives pertaining to foster care
- Willingness to work on a flexible basis, e.g. evenings and weekends
- Ability to produce high-quality assessments
- Confidence and proficiency in presenting to the agency panel
- Driving license and own transport
- Ability to work in the UK without visa restrictions
