Axion Moore Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Systems Accountant to join their team in Central Manchester. As a key hire, you will play a crucial role in migrating all Group companies onto a single Finance platform.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position that requires someone with a passion for IT and Systems, as well as a strong accounting background. You will work closely with senior stakeholders within the Finance department, providing a link between Finance and IT when it comes to ERP, process improvements, system configuration, data migration, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Financial Controller in setting up new accounting systems and providing support on systems development at both transactional and management level reporting.
  • Partner with all stakeholders within the Finance department to become a key link between Finance and IT.
  • Continuously identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout the process.
  • Maintain, update, and own process documentation, agreeing any changes with necessary business stakeholders and process owners.
  • Create new analysis and reporting as required.
  • Revenue and cost recognition.
  • Develop a deep understanding of project budgets and requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, control solutions, execute projects related to standardisation, quality improvement, compliance, or simplification.
  • Provide strategic financial planning advice to other areas of the business.
Requirements

Ideal candidates will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), however QBE/part qualified candidates will be considered in addition to a proven track record of process improvement/system implementation.
