We are seeking an accomplished Senior Circuit Designer to join our client's team at their Great Yarmouth base. The successful candidate will report to the R&D Manager and contribute to a team of seasoned design engineers.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and experience in electronic circuit design, spanning the entire development lifecycle from concept to manufacture.

Expertise in circuit simulation and PCB design is essential. A solid grasp of engineering principles, specifically electrical, mechanical, and software, is highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving in job specification interpretation.
  • Component selection, circuit simulation, and PCB design optimization.
  • Comprehensive testing and validation of components and prototypes.
  • Development of detailed documentation and procedures.
  • Strategic collaboration with R&D engineers to drive innovation.
  • Pioneering new technologies and innovations.
  • Ensuring exceptional product quality, safety, and usability standards.
Essential Requirements:
  • Extensive prior experience in electronic engineering design is mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in technical product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Desirable: Subsea/offshore electronics/design experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of electronics, with awareness of electrical, mechanical, software/Firmware principles.
  • BEng-level engineering qualifications or equivalent experience are preferred/essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ambition and self-motivation.
Salary Estimate: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
