About Our Client
Our client is a well-established accounting firm with over 30 years of experience. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality accounting and financial solutions to their clients.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the monthly workflow planning, allocating jobs to the team, and ensuring targets are met. They will also be responsible for monitoring monthly KPIs, supporting and training the team as necessary, and completing client billing.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee monthly workflow planning and allocate jobs to the team
* Monitor monthly KPIs and ensure targets are met
* Support and train the team as necessary
* Complete client billing
* Liaise with clients in relation to scope of work changes and effect on fees
* Become the main point of contact for clients
* Review team members' work and provide feedback
* Work closely with the principal to assist with the delegation of work down through the team
Business Development
The successful candidate will also be responsible for working with the principal to grow the client base within advisory services, including management accounts, cashflow forecasting, budgets, financial management, and business development.

Requirements
* Can-do attitude - someone who is willing to keep themselves up to date with legislation and technological advances
* Able to produce accounts for limited companies and charities
* Audit knowledge beneficial but not essential
* Able to produce personal and corporate tax returns
* Experience of dealing with clients in relation to periodic management information
* Comprehensive knowledge of IT software
* General bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT knowledge desired
* ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or qualified by experience
* At least 3 years' experience working within a UK Accountancy Practice environment
