About the Role:

We are partnering with a leading consultancy that provides engineering solutions and operational support to some of the UK's most prominent defence contractors.

In this role, you will play a vital part in capturing, analysing, documenting, and managing project requirements while collaborating closely with Project Managers, Engineering Task Managers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet project objectives, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
  • Act as a central point of collaboration, fostering teamwork and supporting project objectives across departments.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to systems engineering teams, driving project success.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, environmental, and quality practices while promoting collaboration and cooperation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of the MoD Systems Engineering Framework.
  • Ability to engage with clients and contractors to develop, oversee, and manage requirements from initial concept to handover.
  • Proficient in applying the Systems Engineering 'V' model.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead requirement elicitation, development, and approval processes.
  • SC Clearance (with the ability to obtain DV Clearance).
  • Proficiency with DOORS (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with documenting and improving processes, including the integration of sub-systems.
